Hood poppers, properly known as durable dot fasteners.
As well as Triumph applications a universal fastener for classic car hoods, tonneau covers, spray decks etc.
The male section is fitted to the top of the material and the female section to the underside of the material. This then pops onto the base stud section which has been fitted to the body with a rivet or screw.
The male section can be supplied in bright nickel or black enamelled.
Usually requires a fitting tool although can be fitted with a blunt nail and a suitable flat steel surface.
